Ok, so ignored the Gregorian New Year. Somehow, an early Feb new year with animals seems like more fun!
Especially as it's my year - the year of the rabbit. Looked up my character profile today. Disappointed with some of it, but not the majority.
Since Jan, the following things have happened:
the bad thing (see previous posts) has become doubly bad
the novel-writing course has ended and has become a more supportive group
Had a v.v. short story longlisted for an anthology.
Sadly the bad thing saps a lot of energy. As does the search to get out of present things. Still, I am grateful to be alive.
